Thursday's just can't be the best day to start the season on.

Ah yes, now I remember. I was highly intoxicated at the time of this posting, and therefore cannot be held personally responsible nor accountable for my actions during such a period of inebriation.

That rookie QB from Hawaii sure looked better than Maas. The QB he threw was called back on an offside, then everything fell apart, but between him and Lumsden they sure looked dangerous.

First off thanks for all of you who played this week. 41 people submitted picks which is by far the greatest number of people playing we have had in one week. The tie screwed everyone over, and the Stamps domination helped everyone but one person.

So it seems like Calgary is the team to beat this year. Next Friday should be a good game, and for surely a good way to measure how complete my Riders really are.

You know what was crazy about last nights game?

The rabbit was beating BOTH teams with 3 unconverted TD's by half time!

I'm glad the stamps started playing more consistent in the 2nd half.

I'm not so sure we can say the stamps are the team to beat in the west yet. BC is still really good (as any team led by Buono is) and if Hamilton actually played a good QB for the whole game then Lumsden and him would have made the game much closer I'm sure!

I would say it was an ok first game. Sure would help to know at least 1/2 the team! I seriously felt like I only recognized maybe 8-10 players on the Stamps!
