i'm not sure if i've ever actually had one....well, i'm pretty sure i've had at least one...i think...playing hockey in ponoka, and i caught a pass right at centre...puck went into my skates, looked down...glanced back up and boom! i guess i just kinda laid there for a couple of seconds, which i don't remember, and then jumped up and finished the shift...had to finish the game, and was really woozy and stuff the whole game, and ride home. after that, i can't have anybody even give me a little tap on the head without giving me a headache...whether or not that qualifies as a concussion, i don't know...

When I went to visit a doctor a couple of years ago about re-accuring headaches, he basically told me that once the damage is done its done, but you need to go to see a doctor right away to prevent more severe conditions from unfolding.

But the damage to my noodle wasn't going to be lessened any, but left un checked the immediate results could have been far worse.

That's the thing with mine. At the time I had a vivid recolection of discussing the concussion with the doctor. Except........... that never happened. I was experiencing a false short term memory. It was a while until I mentioned that I was still having concerns about my concussion that he told me it was the first he had heard about it. He even showed me my entire file, and I didn't go in to see him.

So be sure to talk about what the doctor says with a loved one or a buddy.

On a positive note I did get to re-live my entire childhood. As my memory started to restore I would go through about 3 months per night of memories. I would wake up the next morning positive I had just done whatever I had just re-lived. That was actually pretty cool.
