That's not exactly my list ... the Rockies is the only one I voted for. The igloo was 8th on my list though. I agree with MarchHare about the Northern Lights ... that was my number one pick. Meh, whatever. Most people probably voted for a couple famous spots like the Rockies and Niagara Falls, and then picked their regional favourites. For my money, the Cypress Hills should have been in the top seven, but I doubt many eastern Canadians have even heard of them, let alone been there.

I watched them discussing what should be on the list. As soon as I saw their rationale for inclusion though I got bored. I see the attachment that some people would feel towards an igloo, canoe or prairie skies as a symbol of Canada (those three are just examples). But I can't really say that those three are wondrous!

Honestly, same goes for Pier 21. I've been there, and it is cool to think about the history and such that goes with that spot...but is it wondrous at all? I guess I thought that the list would have more natural wonders and be more "cool stuff" as opposed to a list of things that are geographically diverse that represent Canada.
