I personally would be able to book soon making the long weekend possible, however I don't want to say I will without a cost, as I will have more funds later than now.

Do what you need to do I say. My employer is fairly lenient on vacation time.

Keep in mind that for many people, November 12th is not a holiday. Technically Rememberance Day is not a Stat but a different kind of holiday- meaning a company doesn't have to give you a day in lieu for it being on a Sunday.

That being said, my Fridays off around that time are October 5 & 26, and November 9 & 23- so any of those weekends would be better for me.

Of course if there's a huge price difference then I can be flexible. But I'd rather not burn a vacation day just to save $50.

yes, thats correct. I havent booked a rate for single. as most were couples.

yes, brief stop overs in phoenix (less than an hour) on the both ways.
