Yeah, sad for the season to end this way, but a lot of positives. I think the outcome of this season would have been different had Garbajosa been healthy, but no use crying over spilt milk, as NJ had their share of injuries this year. I tend to agree that it would be best for Mitchell and the Raptors to part ways, simply because this team is in need of more of a tactical coach and less of a developmental coach at this point. I won't be upset if he's brought back, though. Bosh didn't have a great series, and he's probably the sort of player who will learn a lot from a series like this. At least with Colangelo, it's pretty much guaranteed that the offseason will be interesting, too.

A lot of positives to build around for that season.

I think we're very solid at the PG position, TJ probably should have gotten a few more minutes last night, and Bargs get a lot more touches. I thought Bosh's decisions in the offensive end were very poor for most of the game (but contrast that with his defensive game, which was probably one of the best efforts I've ever seen him come with on the defensive side of the ball).

What is really missing from this team is a good SG who can drive and shoot the outside shot. I don't mind seeing Parker as the key defensive stopper on another team's big scorer either, I think he does a solid job for the most part in contesting shots and doing the little things.

But another year under the belts for these young players can only be a good thing, particularily Bargs, Garbo, Parker and Calderon, who don't have that much experience at the NBA level in North America. This was a really big learning experience for them.

Phenomenal may be an overstatement. It was definetly an entertaining game, but I'm not really big on Deron Williams and his chuck-ups, Mehmet Okur and his great footwork in the post and Matt Barnes trying to act like a bad-ass when we all know he went to UCLA. (No curse to Baron) I mean, I got love for Jerry Sloan and AK47... Just not sold on Utah or Golden State being premier teams. Yes, Dallas lost to Golden State and yes, Houston lost to Utah and those teams had the superstars - I guess what I'm saying is I wanted Houston to play Dallas because of the teams, players and cities involved. I'm willing to give these guys a chance. It was a close game and you couldn't ask for anymore from them.

Touche, StrayBullet... I dunno I'm a bit of a Jazz homer, even though I've kinda been turned off the NBA since the Grizzlies left town. I was just really impressed overall by the pace of the game, especially in the first half, and especially after catching the second half of the Chicago/Detroit game. And re: AK47, someone's gotta tell him that whatever he ran over and turned into a toupee just flat out looks terrible.

I hope Utah loses this series - I've always hated them from the days of the homos Malone and Stockton until now.

I don't care how it happens, I just want them out.

Golden State had their chances last night, but they missed that clutch 3 near the end of the game - hit that and I bet they end up winning the game.

Baron Davis is really making me a fan of him.

Jason Smith on ESPN All Night last night was man-crushing on his beard too, LOL.

GO warriors...!! It is so awesome that they beat the Mavs first round, and now they play Utah which is great. After that, it will be super tough, but it is so awesome they won. YAYAY GS! Baron Davis rules...

I watched the end of that Raptors game and my heart goes out to them and to all the Canadians that support TO. It seems like the Raptors/Jays are one sports teams that most Canadians agree on..kind of unites you guys.

Everyone hated Utah because it was Utah. I didn't want the Jazz to win both times in the Finals because they were up against Michael. I never actually hated John Stockton because I knew that there was really something special about him as a player, but I was too young to realize it. People hate Karl Malone, Horny, Big Dawg, and Stock because they played the best of their careers in Utah. You're blinded by the hate, but you realize how great those players were.
I know that if Stockton hit that desparation 3 at the end of Game 6, after Michael hit "The Final Shot", Utah might've beat the Bulls ...IN CHICAGO!

Honestly, I'd rather have Utah win than Golden State. Utah would make a better series with San Antonio or Phoenix than the Warriors.

Baron Davis has always been good. He was good in New Orleans and he was good in college. His injuries sidetracked 3 years of his career and slowly fell out of the spotlight with the emergence of Chris Paul and getting traded to Golden State. It sucks because he'll never (He could, but probably not) be an All-Star in the West. Tracy, Kobe, Iverson, Nash, Tony Parker, Ray Allen and now, Chris Paul - These guards are perrennial all-stars. One of the few UCLA alum that I like. There ain't many.

Wow.... from Bryant Reeves, Antonio Daniels and Michael Dickerson to ...the Jazz??!?! hahaha. Please explain how that happened!!

..and AK's hair is the classic Johnny Unitas, buzz cut! You can't curse him.

First NBA game was at the Delta Center, and Stockton, Malone and Hornacek were killer on NBA Jam. Plus I only moved to Vancouver in time to catch the final 2 years of the Grizzly experiment, but enough stuff happened in that time to turn me off the NBA for a while.

And re: AK, I don't mean to disrespect Unitas, but he belongs on a Corn Flakes box IMO lol

EDIT: Dickerson was one of the few Grizz I could stand too..

Joined the team in the 3rd quarter after flying in from NY.... his daughter was undergoing cancer surgery earlier that day. He then hits an important OT 3 pointer to help them get the win.

Amazing come from behind win tonight by the Suns. Hopefully Amare and Diaw aren't suspended for the next game. The Spurs team disgusts me, just beyond dirty.

O and Vince had a chance to win it but turned the ball over tonight

They said on the broadcast that the coaching staff was getting Amare ready to go into the game and that "he was on his way to check in anyways". It doesnt appear to be the case on replays.

I hope the NBA takes action again Horry. That was a disgusting shoulder on Nash and a forearm after. Bowen, Duncan, and Manu are filthy players.

It's defintley a tough call for the NBA, but when I saw the video of Amare going on the court, it really was for about a brief second and then back by the scorers table to check in. I think the Suns will argue there was just a pileup of players so Amare went around them. If Amare gets suspended for a game so will Horry without a doubt. Although who really cares if your a Suns fan, losing your all star inside man to a role player is a pretty crappy trade off.

Suns did prove they could win last year without Amare, hopefully they won't have too. The Spurs disgust me, Bowen is easily the dirtiest player in the game. How he acts on the floor is a freaking joke.

Nash's interview last night with TNT was awsome "I've been working on the guns".
