What time do the beer gardens open tomorrow? Looks like I have a line on some guest passes.

At the end of the night, I tried to get a cab from Tequila on 17th to go home to the north at 2AM. Ended up walking to 16th Ave North trying to get a cab, got really sick in the freezing rain. Hah... yeah, that was probably the best BSD though. Non-stop boozing from noon till 2am.
Yeah, I'll be dreaming of benders sitting in the office toiling too. But by the sounds of it from some of the lawyers/lawyers in training, there's still life during law school, which is reassuring.

I remember my buddy downed a micky of that in like a minute. Needless to say, I had to carry his sorry ass home about 20 minutes later.

I'll look for you if I happen to spot two single french chicks and I'm in need of a wingman.
EDIT: I'll be the guy reeking of Axe and wearing his WOW shirt.

Should the CPers try and meet up and drown our sorrows from the game with a beer?

I'd be down for chugging some brews. If anyone cares I'll be the guy in the green golf shirt and long sleeves underneath and boarder shorts. Probably be sitting with a table full of women.

So what are your plans for BSD?
I’ll admit I am a poser I go to MRC but that isn’t stopping me I got my good old guest wrist band
And for those who have attended in years past, got any good stories?
(for those of you that don’t know what BSD is…it’s the last of classes at U of C parts of the campus are turned into beer gardens and everyone wears Bermuda shorts)

This goes back a lot of years ....
Engineers used to launch water balloons from the grassy noll beside the engineering building. They made giant slingshots from surgical tubing and a tin cone. They could propel water balloons several dozen yards (maybe 75 yds) to the front of Mac Hall (before the massive renos). Standing in the line of fire was like dodging mortar fire. Someone would yell "Incoming" and we'd try to get out of the way. Anyway, it was all fun and games until someone lost an eye, or nearly lost an eye. A water balloon clobbered the incoming president of the Students Union in the side of the face. He was taken to hospital. That was the end of that.
On a cheerier note, I miss the impromtu wet t-shirt contest we would stage on the grounds.

This must have happened on more than one occasion then, because I definitely recall a BSD snowfall day when they moved everything into the old ballroom and old Mac Hall got pretty much destroyed. But I graduated in 2003, so it must have been before then. 2001 or 2002 I think.

This is definitely the case unless you go to law school in Toronto.

Yah, you'd be right. I graduated in 2002, and we for sure had a bsd inside.
