Nice job Shawnski.
Looks like you're going to stray away from the Lil Jon tracks ("WHAT?!!") that incite brawls... good choice LOL

Thanks HHF. Yeah, the Hip Hop and Rap tracks don't usually go over very well with our beer league members. Some do, but I also have to watch the language as we let their kids in to the dances too.
But once again to all that have posted, much appreciated! I did find many tracks that would fit in quite nicely!

Journey - Don't Stop Believing...
Put that on in any bar after 1am and you'll bring the house down. But it's more sing along then dance to I suppose.

I appear out of the shadows to tell you one song that I always ask for if I'm in a club.
Jurassic 5 - What's Golden
It's hip-hop, but seriously, just go check it out and tell me it doesn't make you want to groove.
Oh, and Eastern Girl.. I love you. Love, love, love, love, Dropkick Murphy's.
OK.. back into seclusion I go.

Great celtic song, agreed with Drop Kick Murphys mentioned above (they do the best Wild Rover).
Barrett's Privateers is a great sing-a-long song
Mull River Shuffle by the Rankin Family is grand as well, but for beer leagues in Alberta maybe not so much as Beer Drinkers in Cape Breton

*bump*
Update for everyone. Just dropped almost $6K on a setup that is very cool. Two Mackie SA1521s w/stands (active speakers), a Mackie SWA1801Z 18" active sub, a few very cool lights(Kinta and two T-Rex), mixer and some other odds and ends. And a smoking new PC to drive it all (not inc in the 6 large.).
Listened to as many of your suggestions for songs as I could find samples for. Definitely found a couple to add to the list! Found a couple newer songs too that I actually like. Finger Eleven's Paralyzer for example.
Anyways, if there are any other songs that come to mind, post 'em!!

I want a royalty for every song I suggested
Seriously, hope it works out for you. What events are you looking to DJ? Mainly parties like weddings, anniversaries, banquets, etc?

Oh the year was 1778
How I wish I was in Sherbrook now
When a letter of mark came from the King
To the scummiest vessel I'd ever seen
GOD DAMN THEM ALL
I was told, we'd cruise the seas for American gold
We'd fire no guns, shed no tears
But I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier
The last of Barrett's Privateers

Ha!
As for what I am doing, it will be mainly ball tournaments (daytime tunes, nighttime dances.) This system will fill a gym easily, so event size won't be an issue. First couple I have set up already are two tournaments for our fun league. One in two weeks! Both will have about 200 people there.
Again, mainly for people in the later 20s to early 50s.

O Elcid Barrett cried the town
HOW I WISH I WAS IN SHERBROOK NOW
For twenty brave men all fishermen who
Would make for him the Antelope's crew
GOD DAMN THEM ALL

We'd fire no guns, shed no tears

The "Antelopes" sloop was a sickening sight
( "How I wish I was in Sherbrook now!")
She had a list to the port and her sails in rags
And the cook in the scuppers with the staggers and jags
GOD DAMN THEM ALL
