Speaking about depressing cartoons. Did anyone see this one?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069289/

Snoopy Come Home.

They don't make cartoons like that anymore, that's for sure.

Yeah good call. That's a really good one too. In fact most of the Charlie Brown specials were just top notch.

Such as: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0123325/

Speaking of shmatlzy British Comedies featuring Hugh Grant....Love, Actually also falls under this category. The saddest scene is actually in the deleted scenes portion of the DVD betweeen Laura Linney and her brother.

The only time I can remember actual tears was in Top Gun when Goose dies. I remember my Mom laughed at me.

I got pretty choked up in Saving Private Ryan the first time I saw it, when he turns to his wife and says "Tell me Im a good man."

Yes! That scene was pretty powerful. I remember being pretty choked up as well. Made me appreciate what our veterens did. Also made me into a WW2 buff.

Do your wives and girlfriends all know that you're a bunch of sissy nancy-boys? Maybe when they grow some balls they'll call a real man.

Ol' Yeller
Brian's Song
The Notebook
Good Will Hunting
Meet Joe Black (alot of people hate this movie for some reason)
Return to Paradise (Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix)
Pay It Forward

I'm sure there are a dozen more that I can't think of at the moment.

I won't watch "Dancing With Wolves" anymore. I get emotionally distraught for days.

"In the Name of the Father", just before the credits.
"Hotel Rwanda" could pull the heartstrings too.

I really had to hold it in the first time I saw the ending of American History X. Something about having a younger brother, I think.

That's the first one I can think of off the top of my head.

this movie didn't make me cry, but it's defenitely one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. Factory Girl http://imdb.com/title/tt0432402/
Is the story about Edie Siedwick...the girl who was the inspiration for Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone"

Mar Adentro...The Sea Inside http://imdb.com/title/tt0369702/ is a movie that did make me cry. This is the true Life story of Spaniard Ramón Sampedro, who fought a 30-year campaign to win the right to end his life with dignity. Really great movie, and the acting is even better.

So, you'd like their wives/girlfriends to grow some balls and then call you? Doesn't float my boat man but whatever you're into...

Watched the Notebook last weekend with the wife - didn't really do anything for me.

I can't think of any movies that have made me all out ball or anything but Brian's Song had me pretty choked though...
