That was your first mistake.
Duke is god awful this year, they were overrated going into the tourney.
They were 8-8 in the ACC, I watch a ton of ACC ball being a Clemson guy.
Clemson should have beaten duke if the refs didn't blow the game. That would have put duke at 7-9

I give VCU credit they played the game of their lives and had a lot of shots drop for them. However, Duke should have easily beat them had they shown up ready to play and had Paulus had a clue out there.

Duke is overrated this year, like I said earlier, hence why I picked VCU to upset them.

I'm in a bit of trouble in the South and West. I had Duke getting to the sweet 16. Also, thought Gonzaga could pull off a trademark upset. At least my final 4 picks are all still in play.

I had Duke going to the Sweet 16 as well. As funny as it sounds, I really think they would have knocked off Pittsburgh in the 2nd round if they managed to win tonight.
I've already lost Oral Roberts and Duke from my Sweet 16, I'm doing absolutely terrible so far. Hopefully my upset picks tomorrow work out for me (Arkansas and Winthrop).

Arkansas might be able to win they gave Florida a run last week-end, hung in with them till the end.
I just can't believe all the people picking Duke, its absoluty nuts, as soon as I saw they were give a # 6 seed I was like definately an upset.
Duke will be good next year if they can keep all there guys as they are young, but I just had a feeling they would go out early this year.

Yep, Duke was simply too young this year to really compete. I truly thought they'd get past the first round and likely Pittsburgh as well but they just couldn't beat the press and Paulus got trapped to death all game long.
On the plus side, they'll have almost all their players back next year (although McRoberts might head to the NBA) and they're getting some damn good recruits next year in Singler, Smith and King as well.
I'm cheering for Georgetown, I have them in the finals against Florida so hopefully they can get on a roll here.

I have no complaints about the first day... I had three wrong picks, but they were all teams I had pegged to lose in the second round anyway. I think there will be a lot more upsets today. Just so long as Miami Ohio over Oregon isn't one of them...

Good first day of picks, damn Texas Tech. The Hoosiers played well, but the zags were awful, they looked like they had no idea what their gameplan was.

memphis vs ucla..is my pick for the final. yup, i wasnt too surprised that duke lost yesterday, they had a mediocre year........i did think for a min that they might make a comeback as they did in 1992 when laetner got the winning basket (which happened with the same time left as yesterday for their last posession........1.8 seconds).
GO UK WILDCATS!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well the most easy "upset" of the tourney to predict (IMO) happened as little known Winthrop, (unless you live in this area) dumped Notre Dame this afternoon....6 over 11.
Wisconsin finally playing like they can and trail TAMCC by 4 after being down as many as 15....and 12 just a few minutes ago.
I sense a coupel more stunners on the sched yet today.

Yep, had that one pegged, though they made me very nervous after blowing that 20 point lead. Wisconsin has finally woken up, which could see another Big Ten team advance after alot of negative press.

Ugh, I had Notre Dame ... what on Earth was I thinking?
I'm at about 2/3 correct at the moment, and the ones I got wrong were huge, glaring, colossal errors. Sigh.

Yep, I was all over that one too Tranny.
Great second day in my office pool which pays out about $700 this year. Not as great in our pool. I made a few more iffy picks in this one.
