it insures that you dont miss payments because if you do miss a few in a row, your credit score will take a hit.

just hope you dont get hospitallized or get laid off from your job

If they want to intrude on my life and waste my time then I can do as I see fit to them. I don't care if they're doing it to feed their family. They aren't doing it because they need to. There are plenty of other jobs out there that don't require them to hassle people.

you fail to see the point of the product as it's to protect you from ruining your credit, not to pay off your credit card debt

Yeah, I'm sorry but if you phone my house univited and disturb me, than I feel I have the right to be a real prick. Like I say charities identify themselves off the bat and I treat those people respectfully. But when someone calls asking to speak to a Mr. Sylvanfan, it's fair game and I'm going to make them want to get off the phone.

We don't get a lot of these guys because our number is unlisted, but I usually just hang up the phone. I can imagine if we got more of these called (we get about 2 a month) I would be more upset and escalate things but I don't see the point right now.
