I actually hate all the cheesey ass jumbotron stuff, hot girls, contests, americas funniest home videos, noise meters, or otherwise. I'm at the game for the game. Hot girls are nice, but I don't have any need to see them making out at a hockey game. I can go to a club or to a strip club after the game if I want some adult style theatrics. Even the ice girls is a stupid idea. This is low brow American style attention grabbing and I think it takes away from the game. You would never see this kind of stuff at a soccer game in the UK or something.
As for the flashing or hot girl on girl action, there are a lot of children at the Dome..do you really want your kids to see that kind of stuff when you're taking them to see a hockey game? I don't have kids, but I wouldn't want them to see that. Its not the time or the place. That kinda stuff just reminds me of the WWF. Lowest common denominator.

There were a couple really attractive, younger women sitting in section 209 at the Wild game last night. They were having a great time, maybe drinking a bit too much, but not bothering anyone. No one got flashed, I didn't even hear any obscene words. Then, with a couple minutes left, security came up and booted them. What the hell is security doing down there?

Certain people just never understand, how often do they do the kisscam? I remember it before but I haven't seen it in the last few games I've gone too.

The only problem with this is that
a) most of the camera men are... well, men. They dont really think about hot guys hahah!
b) the only guys who try to get that kind of attention usually end up looking like fools.

Well considering their job is to entertain the crowd not themselves it shouldn't be a problem.

It was pretty hard not to considering they were sitting across the isle from me. I'm sure someone else on here saw them, too. Tried to start the wave probably 3-4 times in each period. Always while the game was going on.

What are you talking about? No need to take their jackets off? They would be indoors. Most people take their jackets off once they're in from the cold.
If a girl wants to wear a tank, what's the problem? It's a hockey game, not a funeral.

It's also a hockey game not cowboys. I guess what I mean is the girl is wearing a skank shirt for the sole purpose of being skanky at the game, truth be told if it was june (Go flames!) and there are girls rocking tanks that's fine, it's hot out.

Okay some of you are getting a little carried away. You are talking as if the jumbotron shows exclusively attractive or "skanky" girls. They show everyone in the stadium. These girls are but a fraction of what the jumbotron shows. They are one segment out of the dozen that they show at the game.
These girls are fans just like everyone else, I don't see why they shouldn't get a spot on the jumbotron. Perhaps the dome should take a page out of Kia's book and show a goat grazing in a field all game. No one should take offense to that.
What's next? Stop showing the bloopers reel because the thought of someone getting hurt is too much to handle?

Here's a question; if they were showcasing two drunk girls in the range of 7-8/10 would this still be an issue? Why do they feel the need to single out the girls with the fakest blonde hair and the biggest boobs in the smallest shirt each time? I dont' mind seeing two girls kiss, I just wish it wasn't so stereotypical.

You're right, but those girls get singled out for the 'showcase moments' put in the fan videos, etc etc. Mostly the other fans in the videos are all male, the only women showcased are the so-called barbies.

Since when does what you look like relate to whether or not you're a fan?

Oh right... that makes total sense give me a break you can tell a fan from a non-fan to some degree. The guys will obviously like it, but remember if you like that dont slam girls when they think the players are good looking.

Since about the same time it was decided that if you have breasts, you have to be scantily clad to make any sort of fan video. Anybody going to the Flames website to watch the jumbotron videos would think that all female Flames fans were hoochy. Apparently it does make a difference.
