I'm really irritated about the unprofessionalism of the academy. The announcer stated the Departed was based on a Japanese movie when the original was a Hong Kong movie.

Is it that big of a deal?? So the dude made a mistake, you know what if for example, someone at the Brit Awards says that Nelly Furtado is from the US, I aint gonna even think twice about it. I'll laugh at it and that's about it. And this is coming from a BC guy who has his roots from the same island of the Azores and Nelly. It wouldn't be a big deal to me is all I am saying, it was a honest mistake.
