bialetti... nuff said, expensive, but as good as it gets. And I take it back about the fishing pole. If he is a fly fisherman... that stuff has to be picked out in person.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's just another "Hallmark Holiday", designed for all of the businesses and stores to make money. I feel bad for some of my guy friends who stress about making their high maintenance women happy on VDay. I mean, it's nice to get someone a gift or make them something, but people should do it because they WANT to, not because they feel that they HAVE to or because society says its the day to do so. I'm not hardcore ANTI VDAY like some people, Im just sayin i feel bad for the fellas.

That is a beauty! I love it! Not sure if it would be for him or for me on those rare occasions I go camping too. I'm going to sleep on that one and see if I still like it in the morning.

I should have explained better. He drinks a lot of coffee, but none of it fancy. He can't program the VCR. I can't even imagine what he'd do to those pretty machines. And I've never seen one for camping. Link?

A little over the top for Valentine's, I think.

I don't get the anti-V Day crowd. It's not like anyone is making you participate. If some people enjoy it, who cares?

I don't see how it's any different thank Thanksgiving day, or rememberence day, but no one complains about that. I mean, we should be thankful everyday, shouldn't we?
don't our war vets deserve remembering continuously?
So why have those days?

It seems that being anti-V Day is more cliche now then V- Day ever was/is.

I am not vehemently against it, but I feel like some people are forced into it because their boy/girl friend gets really wrapped up in it. It's not about getting something to make your someone feel special, it's more about getting something so they don't rag on you for not loving them or caring about them enough. It just feels forced. I just don't enjoy it. If others do, great. But I don't. I don't like it, I guess I am just not the type to get into that type of thing.

They are pretty simple to use and VERY high quality. Linky linky. Moka express is the one I have, can be used stove top, or campfire.

Looks pretty cool. Works with the camping thing. A little bit smaller than a regular coffee pot, I believe, so he'll be happier to pack it around. I like this one too. Thanks so much!
