Bush league. Toppings need to go to the edge of the crust, not three quarters of the way!
That looks better than the pizza I ordered from Pango a couple of weeks ago. What a sorry sight that was.

The posted pics were from THP along Centre Street N and 48th Ave.
Real dodgy looking place.
I wont be back and I have lost some respect for the Fan960 for pimping them so heavily.

That's where I got mine from.
Then again, I went in and ordered and I was the only one in there the entire time so maybe the guy made sure it was good.

I got mine on a Friday durring a flames game - I was the only one in there but I gathered they have some affiliation to the bar beside them and it was packed to the gills. That THP is over 50 blocks away from where I live so I figured I would drive up there anyways sicne I have never been up that way.
Needless to say, that drive isnt going to happen anytime soon again with the exception of the City of Calgary golf course on about 40th ave ish. Its unfortunate because I had such high hopes. I guess on to the next one on the CP Pizza Forum

Was/is there a CP Pizza Forum? My favorite place just closed down (which is why I was reading this thread!) and I'm in the hunt for a new one...

Sorry, there are multiple good posts on eateries throughout the city, pizza, donair, sandwich etc - just do a search. Thats what I meant, I know its sad but if the CP board consensus is the place is good, I will try it, if its crap then its a no go.

Pizza73 is disgusting, their crusts are small and hard and there pizzas are dry...but it could just be the one in Chaparral.
I have not ate Toms house in a long time but if i recall corretly, it tasted good.
I usually order from Pizza Hut or Little Ceasers.

I like Pizza Hut but I don't like Little Caesars at all...doesn't taste like real pizza.
Chicago Deep Dish is my favourite though...

I think the best pizza is from those little family-owned greek restaurants. They're sometimes a little greasy, but worth it. Earl's makes a good pizza, too. I used to swear by a margarita pizza with italian sausage and shrimp. Their other ones are fantastic too.
It's too bad that Tom's apparently isn't as good as it used to be.

I've eaten at a couple of Tom's in Calgary and found it mediocre at best. But I'm a loyal Coco Brooks fan and find it hard to find something that compares.

Never worked there, but I totally agree about the tropical chicken pizza. I get a craving once in a while and order it, and then never finish. I find it really filling.

I usually eat Inglewood Pizza, mostly because it's right below my apartment so it's super convenient. But it's delicious. Tonnes of toppings, a little greasy and delicious.

Mmmmm... Coco Brooks. Many here complain about their religious affiliation, I only complain that they won't deliver to me as I'm out of their radius. There is nothing that compares.

Inglewood Pizza is great, though i don't really care for their pepperoni or hawaiian styles. but the fact that they use real ground beef makes up for that
and what religious affiliation does coco brooks have? i've never heard of it before

I too love CoCo but they dont sell anything larger than a large (party's etc) and its a pain cooking a bunch at once, plus I can never get the frozen ones to taste as good as it does when you actually buy it hot.

I too am wondering about the affiliation.
They are closed Sunday's and suppot charity groups, thats about all I can think of - at least the NE location. People dont really not patron a place that does that do they? Its not like they have a any religious pictures up like some other places.
