My sleeping habits are non-existent. Some nights I'm in bed at 9:00 PM, sometimes it's 2:00 AM. The alarm goes off every morning at 5:30 AM. Sometimes I'm up at 6:00 AM, sometimes it's 7:00 AM on weekdays.
On the weekends, I sleep in and get up any time between 8:00 AM and noon, depending on how late I was up the night before.
I would say I average 6-7 hours a night. I should strive for more consistency on my timing, I think it would help me out.

I go to bed about a half hour after the last NHL game is over.
Wake up when the cat jumps on me.

I work shift work. My sleeping habits are completely screwed up.
When I'm on day shift, I go to bed anywhere from 10-12, and wake up at 5:30. While working the afternoon shift, I get off at 11, and go to bed anywhere from then until 2, usually to wake up around 7. When on the night shift, I get off at 7AM, and go to bed immediately and sleep until I can't sleep anymore. That is usually between 3-5.
The bottom line, is that shift work sucks.

3-4 AM - 11-12 PM
Right now I work at home and I'd rather do work in the afternoon/evening.

To bed at midnight...always...up at 7.
7 hours of sleep works good for me.

I think this thread perfectly proves that idea that 1/3 people don't get enough sleep. I think I do, but I'm a student, and realise that next year when working I won't be.
But also... isn't Calgary known for its "hard-working" attitude?? Dunno... kind of always assumed that Calgary typically worked more hours then any other city in Canada.
(But thats not necessarily something to be proud of if true).
I go to bed usually like 12...12 30 get up 11 school days and 6 45 work days (2 days a week).

I work shift work so my hours are all over the place...before a day shift, in bed by midnight up at 5. Before a night shift, either try to sleep from about midnight to 10-11 am than wake up and nap from 2-5.
On days off, about 130 am to 10am.

Go to sleep around 12 or 12:30am, usually wake up around 6:45am during the week. Weekends are more like 3:00am go to sleep, wake-up around 9:00am.

For me....I never know when I am going to be in bed and how much sleep I will get. Shift work, and never knowing when your shift will end. Take today. I was up at 9am....started work at 2pm and wont be done work till 8am. By the time I get home I will have been up for 24 hours straight.....not really a big deal, a lot of people do it.....but that is a regular occurance with my job. Probably once a week. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a week.

Bed 2-3am, wake up 7-8am. 5 hours on weekdays usually, 9 on weekends.
Couple years ago was bad, 4-5am, up at 7am. Bad year.
