Adrian is dead in the movie from cancer, I wonder how they willl have her appear..
I'm guessing that it will be in the form of flashbacks unless the movie reveals that Rocky had her entombed in his restaurant Lenin-style. If the latter is the case then it is going to turn out to be one creepy movie.
Just got back from seeing the first showing this afternoon. I liked it, not the best thing I have ever seen, but it was a better conclusion to the series than number five, but hell, that wouldnt take much.
The story was good, the acting was mediocre at best, especially the guy playing rocky's son, he was terrible. The only problem I had was the final third, it just seemed to forced, they did a lot of pump up on him pondering to do the fight or not, then all of a sudden, he's in Vegas, with his gear on, ready to go.
The movie had some nostalgic elements to it, flashback scenes were cool, but the opening hour reminded me a lot of the first two movies, where it wasnt all about the boxing. And the music, was ****ing awesome.
For any Rocky fan, I would reccomend it, Im gonna see it again, but only because, I sat behind an obnoxious idiot.
Just got back from it..I agree with Van about Rocky's son, he had NO personality whatsoever but the rest of the movie was great and the ending was realistic...see it.

Again, I hate it when they recast child actors with new actors as their grown up selves...it usually is absolutely horrible - such as Terminator 3.
In Rocky V, as bad as that film was, it was Stallone's real son and they had some okay chemistry together.
Also, did you know that Dolph Lundgren - the guy who played Drago (as well as the Punisher, He-Man, Universal Soldier, etc.) actually has a masters degree in chemical engineer and turned down an MIT scholarship to become an action actor?

I agree with the Terminator 3 comment, although I think Ed Furlong was a drug addict around the time that T3 was about to be filmed. But I can't agree with the Rocky V comment. Sage Stallone was terrible and would have been as bad if not worse than the sad display that this new dude put on in this one.
ISn't the guy who plays his son in this one the guy from Heroes? That was one of the first things I noticed when I saw the trailer. Haven't seen the movie yet, may be a rental for me.
