Haha..i totally remember watching that before school sometimes...and I always wondered what the clapping over the head was about..why'd they do that? Some kid from my elementary school was on that show once.

Blake's 7, Terrahawks, Benny Hill, Voltron, Macron-1, The Flash...
I wouldn't call all of them good, but I was a kid and liked almost anything on TV.

Don't forget "Street Hawk". For a while the craze was to make super vehicles after the success of Knight Rider and Airwolf/Blue Thunder.
So they made a motorbike "super". Brilliant - even though the rider's exposed and all... I think it lasted 1 season.

That was Captain N: The Game Master. It was a pretty good show, though the one thing that annoyed me was the character "Kid Icarus" since in the game of the same name, the main character's name was actually Pit.

Did anybody else ever watch the Adventures of Brisco County Junior? It was a western/comedy/sci-fi permutation, with a bit of Looney Tunes thrown in for good measure. It was a one-season Fox production sometime in the late 1980s. It was one of my all-time favourites.

Fixed!
So many good shows listed here. I totally remember doin' the Caribu Boogie! And good ol' Pam in the kitchen, messin' with the pots and pans.
This one was probably more from the 90s than the 80s, but how about Blizzard Island?
I dont remember seeing Fraggle Rock mentioned yet either, though Im sure everybody remembers that one.
Airwolf was awesome, I used to watch that and The A-Team with my old man all the time.
Beauty & The Beast was a good one. I had no idea that Ron Perlman was Vincent. That guy's been around for a long time.
Square One was a great show. What ever happened to all the good educational shows like that and Edison Twins or Owl TV. I think you can still catch old Owl TV repeats at like, 6am on weekends.
Oh yeah, and The Getalong Gang! With the Moose and the Raccoon and all the other forest friend characters...

Everyday from 5-6 would be Square One followed by Ghostwriter. Then if the mood was right, we'd tune in to 'Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego?" Did anyone ever think of looking in San Diego? Oh, that rascally Carmen was always able to elude those sleuths, or at least escape from jail in time for the next episode.

Was Square 1 that show with "Mathnet" on it? I remember Carmen Sandiego. Everyone got the loot, the warrant and the crook, but I think I only saw someone complete the siren on the map thing twice. Tiny Toons was great. I never watched Captain N as a whole show, but I watched Mario Brothers 3 (which became Super Mario World) and the first and last segments were mario, while the middle was Captain N. I don't remember much of it, but I do remember the Wombat man episode of Captain N....and the song from it. :P.
This was early to mid 90s, but Squawk Box on YTV. That show was wicked. They used to play street hockey, they'd move over for a car...and then a Lion...then the Evil dead. Gold.
You can't do that on Television!!! I can't believe that hasn't been mentioned (I haven't found it). Ghostwriter was cool as well in the day. Reading Rainbow...Under the Umbrella Tree.....I'll think of some more later (and youtube the intros. :P)

Yup, the final third of every epiosde was Mathnet, or maybe only once a week, can't remember .
Can't remember the guy's name but the female was named Monday... until she became pregnant, and then detective Tuesday magically appeared.

I just thought of another one that would fall under the category of obscure: You Can't Do That On Television
Don't ever say the word "water."

I always liked the Ewoks cartoon. Also, the show about the girl robot. I think it was called Little Wonders or something like that...

It really was weird and creepy when I think back about it. The way that she had a control panel or whatever on her back that they all fiddled around with... very odd. Lots of odd crap on Tv in the 80s.
