No, if there is a loss; it'd never be by anything more than a 2 goal margin. (most have come via OT loss)

Their save percentages are pretty good as well, so it isn't the case that they only save a few shots per game.

I've been playing this online more and more lately... There's still some laggy games but i've played at least 50% lag free, 30% some slow down, and 20% too laggy to play.

It's great times, especially a good OT win.

me too - I like to vary the teams I chose to play as.... Thing that drives me nutz is when the goalies let in those boneheaded goals - seems like it happens more often online rather than in dynasty mode...

What can I do to increase their confidence?
The same thing happened to me but I just ignored them. McLennan I could understand but it was ######ed how Kipper asked for it because it was right after I gave McLennan I think his second start of the season while Kipper had about 15 starts.

I bought both EA and NHL 2k7.

EA has to work on the defensive side of things for next time, but I love it. It DESTROYS that arcade 2k7 version.

I literally played 2k7 for 1 hour and haven't played it since. What a waste of money. I'd sell it for $30. It's brand new. Not even a mark on bottom of the cd.

I like the Ea updated rosters. They aren't bad. I was surprised they even say the updated player names on the pbp.

I hope EA works on the dynasty mode as well. It's pathetic how your players can't even progress properly. Their ratings reset. What's the whole point of a duansty if that is happening?

WTF, I was playing a guy today, that was 15-0. He didn't play at all during the 1st (i assume to stop people from quitting).

Once the 2nd started, he pulled some major cheese to go up 2-0 right away... made me watch the replays etc...

Halfway through the period, I got a breakaway and scored. As soon as the puck dropped, it started doing that glitch that resets the face off, and sometimes travels back in time...

well, it kept doing this until the score went back to 2-0.... I think it must be some sort of cheat, because it stopped doing it after that.

Plus, I break controllers a lot playing this game... drives me crazy..

Why can't sony make a controller that can be chucked across the room

Guess they wouldn't make money off suckers like me.

that's the problem i ran into, and it's because you played McLennan too much. i guess EA figured stuff in like how many games a goaltender is likely to play in a season, because when i redid my dynasty and only gave McLennan about 5-10 starts for the year neither one complained

Wow! Even reading that p*ssed me off, I cant even imagine if someone actually did that to me. Yeah he totally put a cheat on you for sure. And making you watch the replays is garbage. Sounds like some 15 year old punk. I'd totally break my control. I get too fired up playing those games.

btw Ive played NCAA football and Madden online, they have really come around lately to bring in "fair play"(ie. even if you quit during a game, you are still awarded a loss and the other guy gets a win). Is NHL like that? Or if someone quits would he avoid the "L" and you not get your "W"?

I am in desperate need to learn how to do the following in NHL 07 for Xbox360:

Fight!!! What the hell
Take a draw to someone other than directly behind me (IE: How to win a draw to a specific winger)
Why do my d-men never seem able to accept a pass to the blueline?

New to the xbox version... thanks for the help. any other tricks?

Thanks

I could never figure out how to start fights on PS2, only to hit down on the Dpad to accept a fight.

fights in 07 are started by slashing players, which is a button combo if i remember correctly. just keep doing it and eventually someone will drop the gloves. but it's not really worth it, the fighting portion is really poorly done and anything above the easy setting will get your ass kicked

Do you know how to actually throw punches? I just get my ass kicked every time without throwing a single punch.

I don't like the game because the only way the computer steals the puck away from you is from hooking and they don't even get penalized for it

It's funny that this thread got brought back up, I started playing a new season last night with a bunch (see: every) free agent that has signed on their new teams etc. Of course I played with the Oilers, and was all excited that Joni Pitkanen picked up 10 points in his first 10 games for me....then I went to the league leaders page, and who is leading the league in scoring by 5 points...Joffrey Lupul.
Doh.

I think you just have to keep pointing it at the guy, but it hardly ever works. Maybe 1 in 10 tries.

Same thing with drawing the puck back to the OTHER defenseman. Very annoying.

Also, having only one way to get injured is stupid as well. There should at least be injuries from shot blocking.

And, oh yeah, deflections. Please?

Many, many more things to complain about as well. Poor effort.

Ok... something new that is royally pissing me off online...

Every time, they can win the draw 100% of the time, then go and hold my guy so he can't move. My only defense is when he lets go, I give him a chop and injure him.

How are they doing this?

Xbox version>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ps2 Version

I have both, wat a waste of $35 for the ps2 one

Everything about the xbox is better, grapchis, its faster, smoother

Simming in ps2 takes forever, actually takes like 3 times as long as xbox, just little things are so slow, like jus checking a players ratings and stuff takes like 4 times as long just to pop up, its so annoying

Saving takes so long, Even jus bringing up the trade menu takes so much longer

Jayems are you sure your name isn't Chris. My buddy hucked his 3 day old $5000 LCD TV remote against the wall over this game, destroying it it. I would have laughed uncontrollably if he was't 150 pounds heavier than me.

Ive seen a friend smash this game

All cause "YOUR GOALIE WAS TO GOOD!!!!"

meanwhile all he does is the cheap tactis, he literally freaked out, dint wanna do anything but sit and pout

Funny stuff
