With regards to the song, The Watchmen made a habit of playing it live towards the end of their days. Did a damn fine job of it too.

When you are playing this game online, how do you get a second player on the same console to join as a guest? We had to create a second xbox live account to be able to play, surely we didnt have to go through that and my buddy coulda just played as a guest, no??

it's probably gonna be so obvious and I'm gonna feel like an idiot when you guys tell me how...

It's probably like Call of Duty2... one game, one system, one TV per person for either Xbox Live or system link. Ticked me off too.

I'll check around though and if I find different will let you know.

I know you can have a guest because ive seen a few people online with them. Im pretty sure when you sign in and you see something around the bottom right it says sign in or something. And then you can only play a versus player match.

I played it on Saturday and was not immediately competent at it so I don't like it..

Just kidding. It looked amazing, especially on the 72 inch HDTV I was playing on. But I'm not very good at those types of games.

That Mad world song is one of the most depressing songs I have ever heard. Melancholic melody aside, just listen to the lyrics...jeeze I feel like calling the crisis help line.

Wow, this game is good. The graphics are very nice, and the game play is pretty good so far.

I felt the same way when I first tried it, I was garbage and kept dying on the first couple of bad guys. I found my appreciation for the game improved a lot when I started playing co-op with a friend... we're into the 4th act now and I've never really played the game by myself. Now that I know you can split-screen online I'll probably have to xbox live.

Picked this game up last night as well as the 360. All I can is wow. Amazing atmosphere and visuals. Much harder than expected. Usually I'm stellar at shooters, but this one is taking some practice to even be decent at it. Xbox came with Gears of War, Ghost Recon, which I haven't really played much of, and this other game The Outfit, wow what a piece of garbage that is.

Would like to get xboxlive, but my computer is on the second level, and my xbox is in the basement...anyone have any suggestions?

1-800-668-6868.....Kid's Help Phone!

(Sorry couldn't resist - that song popped into my head when I read your post....)

I agree the song is melancholy but it's so evocative of a mood and so perfect for the GoW ad that it's totally addictive....rather than calling a help line tho, I think I will just buy the game for my little bro (who has an XBox that I can try it on) for Xmas.

The end to the commercial reminds me of this qoute. I forget who originally qouted this, but it goes something like

"The world will end, not with a big bang, but with a wimper..."

I don't know if I bought a crappy wireless setup or if something is interfering with it or what. The wireless adapter for the xbox is $130 so it would have to be considerably better than my current setup.

Anyone out there used it?

I would hook up a wireless router to your modem. But instead of hooking up the Xbox wirelessly, I would hook up the computer wirelessly, and directly connect the Xbox to the router...

<<<< That is me... getting slaughtered by Raam, the final boss. Got through him in casual fairly easily. But DAMN.... in hardcore it is tough. And that numbnuts partner Dom is so useless too... I can see this being much easier to do co-op than solo. Anyone get through on hardcore solo yet?

All you have to do is use the Tourque Bow and the Sniper. Use the Bow to get they kryll of him then shoot him in the face with the sniper and repeat. When he gets too close blind fire your grenades at him and he should go down, if not run to just before the troika gun and hide behind that one barrier and do the same with the bow and sniper. Yeah, Dom sucks.
