What are you? from Edmonton???? if you were wearing dress shoes, then thats OK, I guess...but seriously, even people that are jogging, wouldn't be caught dead in jogging pants. There is no justifying wearing JP's out in public, IMHO. You can buy jeans or whatever for $20 at Winners or where ever...

Seriously... who gives a ****? As long as someone is clean, I don't care what they wear.
Get a life.

Who are you? The fashion police? I am not going to change into different pants just because I have to run down to the store to get something. They are very comfy. Much more comfy than your $20 winner jeans

I don't know how men can go in public in sweat pants. I'm always afraid of the dreaded tent syndrome.

Are you guys serious?
Trust me, I have way more expensive jeans than a $20 pair from Winners. I actually didn't know there was such disdain for wearing sweats to school. If I only have one class I'm not going to dress myself up like I'm about to go to the club. I'll throw on a pair of sweats and a hoody. And please, like someone else said, interviews for Co-Op last maybe 2-3 weeks, and I'm not even applying to Co-Op. Some of you guys need to chill out a little bit.

Getting back on topic, have any of the students involved been disciplined yet? Via the Alumni mailing list I got a response from the Dean of the Faculty which tells me they're sufficently irked that they may actually do something this time.
Despite the fact that they were acting as private citizens, I think there's enough "conduct bringing disrepute to the University" language in the calendar that some heat can (and should) be brought down on these guys.
Gauntlet site has nothing on this.

One of the guys who went who I'm acquaintances with was telling me today that he has a meeting with the Dean to discuss what happened. He told me himself that it's getting blown way out of proportion. That was his take on it, so I'm not entirely sure how true it is.
