I also just had some McDonalds, a double Big Mac, good stuff.
As for the Monopoly, I just dont even bother with it anymore, dont even collect the pieces, just throw them out.

This is the question that I have always wondered.
Do they mark the "rare" pieces differenty at all?? If they dont, how many winning pieces are just thrown in the trash by people who dont care to take the time to collect. (myself included)
I would assume there would be very few winners if the rare pieces arent marked in some way.

i don't think they would mark the pieces. Otherwise, employees would know which one is which and take them.

I think he means marked on the winning side, not the blank side.
IIRC this happened years ago when the contest was "Build a Big Mac." An employee cleaning the tables noticed an unopened game piece and opened it. Turns out it was the $100K "rare piece." I'm not sure if he quit his job, or just gave the piece to a friend, but there was a court case about the legality of it all. I don't recall the end result but a few years later I heard McDonalds employees were told that if at any time they encountered a winning piece; that they should inform their manager immediately for instructions.

You obviously missed the point of that documentary. It wasn't about what would happen to you if you only ate McDonald's. The whole point was to explore the fast food culture, and why it has become so prevalent, and why people continue to eat so much of it even though everyone knows that it isn't good for you.

You hit the nail right on the head, BBS. There is much more to these types of documentaries than whats on the surface. The whole gimmick of eating McDonalds for a month was really just to add to the arguement and create an interesitng angle.
Documentaries aren't going to change many people's minds anyway, they are just another resource. Someone could make a similar documentary regarding smoking, and it probably wouldn't change many smokers minds about their habits.

Know what's weird about McD's food? I'll go to Peters and buy some stuff, and my car won't smell after I take the food out. I buy McD's, and my car smells like a Big Mac and fries for two weeks.
