The Shield was on FX, but was has been as expensive as the HBO series.

I thought I would let people know you can buy Season 1-3 for $29 at Wal-Mart. It is hit and miss if they have them in stock, and if you can actually find them in their chaotic shelf system.

Season 4 is still $55 (Superstore) to $80 at other places. I am expecting it to drop in price near Christmas, or when they release Season 5.

For those interested in Zip, they also have a branch here in Calgary. I get my DVDs they day after they send it out. And they receive them back the day after I send them back.

I think they are on season 6 now.

TV on DVD is amazing.. NewsRadio, Futurama, The Office UK, The Office US, Family Guy, Chappelle Show, Sopranos, King of the Hill, the list goes on. The ability to purchase old TV shows on DVD (and new) was probably the "killer ap" of the home DVD market.

So I just ordered the first 3 seasons of Louis and Clark: The new adventures of Superman, the first two seasons of The Cosby Show, the first 3 seasons of Entourage, and season 2 and 3 of Fresh Prince. I can not wait.

Does anyone know when season 3 of the OC comes out on DVD as well as season 5 of 24?
