Just an FYI, that URL for the Fan stream does change sometimes.

If it does stop working for you in the future (forgive me, I'm a Windows/Linux nerd) this is how I get the new URL.
Click the listen live link, and let it spawn the new window. After the ad, it will try to play the stream. In Firefox, I right click and chose "View Page Info", then on the media tab there is an "EMBED" address and that is usually the actual stream address.

I use this method then plug the URL into my mediaplayer of choice (usually media player classic or foobar).

I do the same in Safari. I used to have to do this with WMP when I still had it.

This is probably a useless note for most of you, but here goes...
I've got a mac laptop here in Italy and I severed the power cord (don't ask). A replacement cost €80.

I want to cry. Today is the estimated ship-by date. I call the guys at apple to make sure.. someone tells me that its in a box with labels, waiting for a truck. I'm all excited. I come home to check it again, and the email reads:

Now what the hell? I call, and bitch, it does get me $50 off, but still... i want it for school, and they're telling me different things about the status of my order.

The guy was nice on the phone, and i know its not his fault.. but WTF?

Does My Mac Dealer, London Drugs, West World, CompuSmart have stock? Check with them and you may get one sooner. These things are selling like hot cakes and this is the biggest selling time of the year for Apple.

I got lucky when I got mine. My Mac Dealer recieved 6 the day I called and I had them put one on hold. They all were taken by the time I swiped my credit card.

mine is being made in china apparently.... and is sitting over there right now.

I went with the online store because it saved me a lot of $$$

Mine was delayed too (I have it now though) Was delayed till Sept 1st, even though I ordered it on Aug 16th (it got delayed twice). Apparently they underestimated demand for back to school. There are def more macs at the university this year than there were last year

If part of the order (ipod for example) hasn't started delivery yet then they'll also upgrade it to the express shipping for free.
