It's still pretty amazing but it was absolutely incredible in the "good old days" when they packed 20,000 people onto 'The Kop' and they would belt out "YNWA" just before kick off. It was almost a religious experience that would bring you to tears. Many a time I would leave the ground with ringing in my ears such was the atmosphere there.
Other football grounds I've been to:
old Wembley. This was pretty much a shed of a ground but the occasion was always grand. (Usually a cup final of some sort.)
Prenton Park: Home of lower division Tranmere Rovers.
Old Trafford: Home of the dreaded Man United team.
White Hart Lane: Home of Spurs
Maine Road: Old home of Man City
Hillsborough: Notorious ground of Sheffield Wednesday where 96 Liverpool fans where crushed to death in 1989. I was there exactly one year previous to the tragedy and recall mentioning to my dearly departed dad that they were packing the Liverpool fans below us in too tight, and I feared someone might get hurt. A year later my worst fears came true.

Hillsborough Memorial at Anfield
Villa Park: Home of Aston Villa
There's many more but I have to run and be a parent again!
