Both good hockey towns, no doubt. Chicago fans of course are hurting right now because of the Blackhawks in a big lull, but they have a small and passionate following still. They deserve better. If you can, also make the 5 hour drive further east to Detroit. Their fans are a bit overrated and spoiled, especially compared to the other underrated Chicago fans, but its stil a great place to watch hockey. If you can't check out the Wings, try to take in a college hockey game in Ann Arbour (wolverines).

Miami is another city I'd like to go to.
