When I started readng your post I actually thought you were serious.
I've had morphine before when I broke my arm, and I can say that it's one of the single greatest highs I've ever experienced. I don't think I'd be shooting up every time I was hung over though....my arms would have more track marks than Courtney Love.
I talked to a doctor once who said that whenever he got really wasted he would go into the hospital where he worked, pop a couple tylenols and have a nap whilst hooked up to an IV to rehydrate. Not exactly a hangover cure available for the public though.

Drag your ass outside and go for a brisk walk with a water bottle. This is the last thing you feel like doing but it seems to help.

I've cured every hangover I've had in the past few years within an hour.
Do all the following, or a combination it's up to you:
Gatorade: helps restore electrolites as states above, and rehyrates very well. Goes down easier than water when hungover.
1/4-1/2 shot of Rum: this might sound weird, but if you mix a slight amount of rum with your gatorade you can't really taste it, but it will kill the drug withdrawl. As someone jokingly said above, start drinking again, well actually "hair of the dog" works the best I've found.
Coffee/Coke: Once you have the gatorade you'll want to get energy levels back up, coffee or coke should do the trick. I'm not a big fan of energy drinks, so I don't know if I would reccomend Red Bull, but the theory would be the same.
Motrin IB: while as stated above, it will only cover the effects of the hangover. It covers the effects of the hangover!!! There also is trace amounts of caffine in Motrin IB if I recall correctly. I like the 400mg Super-Extra Strength stuff, but only take 1.
Chocolate Bar: I prefer Dairy Milk, lots of chocolate concentrated in a small bar, eat quickly, get the sugar high, and the endorphins (sp) that the chocolate releases
Fruit: blueberries, strawberries, rasberries, bananas, mangos, whatever the fruit will give you the natural sugars, and put something healthy in your stomach to help avoid the grogginess and and sugar/caffine crash from the above remedies
Carbs: I find pasta and carbs help re-engerize me, so again when the short term fixes wear off, you want the long term fix to start to kick in.
There have been morning I've awoken and thought "ughhh never drinking agian" then thanks to some of the suggestions above was back on the horse that night

For some reason, if I wake up from a night of drinking, and brush my teeth and I swallow some of the toothpaste, i instantly convulse into dry-heaves that goes away after about 10 minutes.
Really weird.

What are those things called?
Obviously alka-seltzer, but what else does it say on the box?

You can deal with the symptoms with tylenol or aspirin for the headache and a gravol for the stomach. Pot is an anti-naseant as well which is why I think it is being bandied about. Water flushes the alcohol out eventually as has been said over and over again. If you don't want to be a couch potatoe and are willing to fight through a little pans without using the drugs get some exercise with plenty of fluid and your body may sweat it out a little faster.

touche, I've done that many a time. There's also a street meat vender just down from Pizza Corner in Halifax that sells Philippiano Pork Kabobs - those are the best things ever!
But generic grease before bed helps
Something I did actually forget
take a shower - don't know if there's any scientific reasoning for it, but I find taking a nice, long, hot shower helps me after a night of drinking. Maybe it's the water in the air, maybe it's that it opens up the pours (which might do something, I dunno). But a shower generally helps me out the morning after. Reason I'm remembering it now is because a nice, long, hot shower gave my batteries a boost this morning.

Too bad there is nowhere in Calgary to get a nice big poutine after a night of heavy drinking, but that will sop up anything you got in your stomach.
I have found if you drink a lot of alcohol frequently you stop getting hungover at all. Such was the case for me this morning and yesterday morning. The downside is it probably means you have an alcohol addiction. However I don't drink by myself and it hasn't ruined my life yet, so I'll keep trucking.
"Alcoholism is a disease, but it's the only disease you can get yelled at for having. 'Dammit, Otto, you are an alcoholic.' 'Dammit, Otto, you have Lupus.' One of those two doesn't sound right." - Mitch Hedberg

There's obviously no other alcoholics on this board.
Pedialyte.
And a joint.
