Well I cant sit here and say that Holt is my type of place to shop, it may seem like it but its not. Materialistic girls get nowhere in life, viewed as too arrogant, too overly confident.
I pretty much just use a chequing account right now (dont ask me why), because I dont even write cheques but Ive been too lazy to switch to a savings. Heck, I dont even know the differences lol, and I most likely should just be using a savings.

No kidding, are you sure its a mortgage payment and not rent or a payment for a car or something.
I am paying 1386/month.

I dont mean to make this sound selfish at all, but a cell phone is something I could NOT live without. You know girls are chatterboxes A $750 one? God ya! Unless, Im some woman who has her own house, kids and driving a lexus, I have no business owning this - I feel bad everytime I even look at it lol. And that is because i know its not right. Why I ended up buying it again, after I sold off my first one a month ago is beyond me - just goes to show how selfish I can be at times. A non-selfish person, wouldnt even let the thought of buying it again cross their mind. I literally had to force myself mentally to do it, it wasn't easy (gee how bad does that sound).
But I want to get to the point, where I could drop stuff like this in my life in the matter of snapping my fingers. Or even better, if Im real good...not even in consideration!
It's like a car. I have a girlfriend who drives an Audi TT, but that is only because her parents bought it for her. A month after using it, she wont give it up and go back to her old car. :baby:

I can get pics up later if you want live pics. . No matter what I say to myself, I cant seem to be able to let go of it. If I was, I wouldnt have bought it again.
In the meantime, Im off to buy an XBOX 360.

Hmmm . . . . . it looks like an ordinary phone and NOT the answer to all your problems.
You gotta love the power of marketing.

Looks like a pretty nice phone but I don't see where the embedded diamonds are hiding.
As far as learning good spending habits, I would really recommend moving out of your parents house. I have known so many people who are very reluctant to do this because they are so used to never having any bills but this is hands down the best way to learn. Actually, I'm a little surprised how in Calgary so many parents seem reluctant to let their kids leave home. My parents booted my ass and bought me some luggage. It seems like everyone wants to own their first residence after moving out and this surprises me.
Yes, starting out on your own is hard but it sounds like you have zero debt right now and you make decent money. I suggest getting your feet wet and heading out on your own.

Oh, its no ordinary phone Stainless steel, feels like a million bucks and sounds like a zippo when the slider opens and closes.
Right now, I just have to focus on preventing myself from going out. Or I know it will be to get that XBOX . Damn it, why cant I get this bloody stinkin' thing off my mind. I knew I shouldn't have gone to play it yesterday

I will go first, Ive had a few...some listed in here.
$400 eyeglasses is one of the worst, considering it sits here most of the time. Since i have two, I use my old pair for when Im at home and the $400 ones when Im out - and even then I only wear them for reading and driving . A lot of money sittin' around. I wish I hadn't gotten them
The cell phone wasnt as bad because I actually make more use of it compared to those glasses.
Ive also spent $550 on a suit before, is that bad?

$550 on a suit? Ok, when I think of a suit, I think of a men's suit. And $550 for a men's suit isn't bad at all.
I have no idea what ladies suits are like.

Considering a woman can get suits $200 and up (good quality too), and I wear mine maybe 3-4 times a year . Im not a suit person at all, unless I absolutely have to.

I browsed around at some of dem there Nokia phones. One of them has a nifty feature -- for the low-low price of just $5.99, your service provider will provide you with 90 days of Beetle Bailey cartoons. They'll send 'em directly to your telephone!
How did we ever get along without this stuff?

I once paid $500 for a camera when I went in looking to spend about $200. That's about as crazy as it gets for me.

$3000 for a table to put our laundry on. It has a really nice feature though, you can convert it into a pool table when company comes over.
We just bought new leather furniture, but that wasn't really impulsive. In 15 years of marriage we never owned *new* furniture. It was time.
Our ridiculous spending has been on vacations many times, and that's is how we have gotten into credit card troubles before. Now we are putting the cash away beforehand.
I can't imagine spending more than $200 on a cell phone, but I hate them anyways, and refuse to carry one. If it is important leave a voice mail at my home number.
