Speaking of that, did Christie do one challenge, besides eating the caviar that one time and complaining the whole way through (that's the only one I could think of that she did). Although, I did miss a few episodes...

well, let's face it, many of those challenges were of the physical kind......something which men tend to excel at more than their female partners. Fair or not, it would just be bad strategy to let the weaker of two get in on a physical challenge.

Of course that means when the ladies did step in they were expected to do their share in the non-physical stunts ( eg, the caviar challenge, which almost all of the girls whined about).

Thats why chip and kim were so far behind the other two teams at sunshine.
How could they just decide not to show one of the challenges? The challenge they read out load at the Calgary airport when they arrive described them taking a cab to Sunshine, not teepee building in Banff. They would have to re-shoot the teams ripping open the envelope with the challenge in it! Doesn't seem like there is much integrity in "the race" if this goes on.

This was already a 2 hour show. I don't think CBS would have let them have 3 hours to show everything. Besides you can see that all three teams arrived at sunshine in different cabs that left Calgary.

But if it was not foggy in Calgary then the teams all would have been on the early flight. Colin and Chrisite would have whipped Chip and Kim once in Dallas based on their better ability in the maze and their cab driver.
But if the last task of the second last leg of the race wasn't exceptionally grueling, Colin and Christie would have been eliminated.

But if the third last leg wasn't a non-elimination round, Colin and Christie would have been eliminated.

In fact, of the last four teams, Chip and Kim were the only team to NEVER finish last! The other three teams were lucky to even be in the final four. [/b][/quote]
Exactly......if there were no "non-elimination", Chip and Kim would still have won. They never finished last on any leg.

Colin and Christie were a great team, Chip and Kim were just a bit smarter/lucky when it counted.

Thus, the deserving couple won.

That's what makes it such an entertaining show.

I think the Bowling Moms deserve props for their performance! They put the Amazing in the Amazing Race. Great attitudes, competitiveness and they did every challenge!!! No man carrying them... Charla and Mirna were great too.

I'm glad C&K won after the Moms were eliminated. I couldn't stand Colin. The best part of the show had to be when Chip yielded him, though Chip didn't hold up very well after. The entire race Chip was hilarious, and he should get a sitcom.

They could have taken the Air Canada red-eye to Toronto and connected to Dallas, arriving at around 11:00.. Chip could have taken time to eat 2kg of caviar and 24 eggs before comfortably finishing the race. Better than crapping your drawers in a taxi!!

I laughed at the scene in the Denver airport. The EXACT thing happenned to me in Denver right after last Christmas. I was connecting there from Phoenix and on to Calgary... The earlier flight to Calgary was delayed so I wanted to get on it rather that wait for my connection 4 hours later. I got the same story. Maybe if I would have prayed to the Lord Jesus... they would have let me on!!! I guess I'm not the only loser out there.. The only race I was in though was to get back to my crappy job so the crappy boss wouldn't fire me.
