This is my dog Iggy, he was chewing a stuffed duck before game 7 (wearing his flames bandana), too bad the real Iggy didn't do the same that night!!!

Is that an American Bulldog? We were going too get one before Macy but never knew much about them. Awesome dogs went and saw a litter around Androssan about 7/8 years ago
No he is a white boxer. Most of them are killed because they can't show them anywhere so they deem them useless. He's a great dog, really good with the kids, he also burbs and farts just like us.

Yes, minilops have a tonne of personality. Here is picture of my late, great Rufus.

I still miss the little guy as he was so loving, social, quirky and knew he had me wrapped around his proverbial finger.

For those of you with Rabbits, do they poo everywhere? Can you take them outside with a harness? I've always wondered ever since I saw a girl down the street walking her rabbit if this was normal.

As far as the holding thing goes, I think it has to do with how the rabbitt is socialized when they are young. Rufus used to love to lay on my chest and lick my face while getting his ears rubbed and watching television.

Has she developed an appreciation for television? One of Rufus' favourite things was to watch hockey because of all the moving colours and objects. Of course, he also used to love watching the "waving Canada Flag" 2004 World Cup of Hockey DVD menu. He would sit and watch it for as long as I would leave it up for him.

Rufus was cage trained but would occaisionally let loose a few pellets of poop when he would get excited or to mark that he'd been in certain spots of the apartment. Rabbit poop isn't a big deal though as it is pretty dry unless the rabbitt is sick.

I took Rufus outside on a harness a few times. He wouldn't walk with me or anything crazy like that but I did take him to the park a few times so he could chill out on the grass with me.

One thing to keep in mind is that some caged animals can develop a "sky phobia" where if you take them outside their mind is blown because "There's no ceiling up there, man." If that happens to your rabbitt then odds are pretty good that you'll never be able to take them for a walk.

My previous rabbit (His name was Bunny- I know, how original.... there's a long story.) he would wear his harness and we would go for walks. Sometimes it would just be a trip to the pet store so he could pick out his own treats. The trick was to walk behind him to sorta chase him and he'd go where I led him. He was also fully liter box trained so maybe once a week I'd find 2 little pellets on the carpet. In fact at one point he refused to poop in his cage, so I'd come home from work and open his cage, he'd leap out and in about 3 bounds make it to the litter box.

Reaper, he was the one who liked TV. He really liked baseball and Golf; not sure if it was the grass or what. He would sit there stretched out watching the game, and when a comercial would come on he'd run around the living room for a while, and then as soon as the game started up again he'd plop himself back down to watch TV. He was also very well trained. A few of the commands he knew:

-Stay
-Hug (He'd put each of his front paw on either side of your neck.)
-Go back to your cage
- Short run. (If I was tired I'd tell him that before letting him out; he'd come out, run around the living room about 5 times at full speed, then right back into his cage.)
- Yawn (this was so I could check his teeth- it wasn't so much a command as a response to me yawning in front of him, he'd yawn back.)

Boo-Boo is far less responsive to commands, but she is a total sweetheart. I was so afraid to get another rabbit because of how good Bunny was, and it turns out Boo-Boo has found a different way into my heart. It's so true about rabbits; each has their own personallity just like a cat or a dog.

As for Boo-Boo watching TV; oddly enough she only watches TV from her cage. From her cage she can see the TV in the kitchen, and I often see her lying down and watching the TV. Because of this I bought a new TV for the kitchen; one with an on/off timer. Right now she's watching TSN while I'm at work. But with the TV in the bedroom where her run is; she rarely watches it. Mind you she has all sorts of toys to play with so she keeps pretty busy in there.

Jasper used to leave us presents all over the place. Especially when he was excited. But then we got him fixed and it was night and day. He no longer has the urge to mark his territory and now he always goes in his litter box. It's funny sometimes because he'll be in another room and he'll go running at top speed and jump in his box and does his business.

He doesn't like to be picked up but likes to be rubbed on the head and behind the ears.

We haven't had him outside but he gets lots of exercise in the upstairs of the house. We never keep him in his cage. He runs free and he's happy with it and so are we. He usually sleeps during the day either in the corner of our closet, under the bed or in the hallway. At night we close our door because sometimes he likes to sprint around in the middle of the night. If the door isn't latched closed though he'll come up and push it open so that he can have another room to run through in the dark.

I think rabbits just hate closed doors. Rufus used to hate it when he found a closed door. He would scratch at it, push it with his head, stand on his hind legs and lean on it if he found a closed door. I think it was a matter of him knowing that a room exists on the other side of the door and he wanted to be able to have the option of going there if he felt he needed to flee or hide. On a number of occasions my wife and I would be in bed watching television with the door open just a crack when it would slowly open about 4 inches. Rufus' head would appear in the opening and he would give us the "just checking" look and return to whatever he was doing.

nfotiu: Wonderful colouring on Millie. What a gem of a pooch.
And Cowperson, I've been to your blog a few times, I love seeing happy Goldens with room to roam. If I had a bigger yard, I'd get a retreiver (probably black lab, that's what I had growing up(RIP Darcy)) in a heartbeat.

We do have a cat. I think he is a bit neurotic. He doesn't mind being alone, but if my wife and I aren't in the same room, often he will go back and forth scolding us (I can tune him out but it drives my wife nuts). When we sit on the couch to watch TV, he hops up between us and sleeps.
Other times, I will be on the computer in the basement and he will curl up nearby to sleep. I'll go upstairs and if I don't come back I'll hear meowing until he finds me again. He's a good cat, but I still miss a good dog.

You take beautiful pictures CP. Your pets are beautiful and obviously well-loved. I'm sure you're just the kind of (cow)person your dogs think you are.
