I don't know if it's possible but could you like take him to the hospital and show him a couple drug addicts on their death beds, or ones that are in pretty bad shape. Maybe seeing what could happend to him could help him decide to try and stop doing drugs. And if it does just tell him that you'll be with him to help him through a recovery program.
