Are those flames fans cameos in the game?

No, in the PC version it only ships with ONE cameo, and that's one of the Naslund clips. Apparently you have to download the others and add them.

I've pre-ordered the game for PS2.
Do you know if the gameplay, presentation etc. will be similar to that of the XBOX version? Or could it potentially be something completely different?
Just wondering if the type of console was a factor.

Wow, the PC version sounds awful. Especially after reading that BB link posted.
I'll have to rent it this week.

Well I just bought it and my first impression has been pretty good. It lets me change the keys to what I'm used to, which I was quite worried about. The first post in this thread initially left me with the impression you couldn't change them at all, not that you only can't use certain keys. Scott Hannan isn't one of the players you can choose for Canada at the World Championships at the start, but I think that's fixable (haven't tried yet)

i got it for pc, and my laptop far excedes the requirements of it, but it always crashes and never works for me so it was basically a waste of 50 dollars until they get a patch out for it to fix it :crap:

Sounds like a lot of you isn't liking this year's edition...makes me weary about buying a brand new copy
If anybody is regretting your purchase of this piece of crap game please PM me, I will take it off your hands for $30 CAD
If not I think I'll go look around Cash Converters in a couple months lol, I'm sure somebody's computer out there is not compatible with it

Anybody else have the scrolling menu gamepad problem?
I have two gamepads hooked up (One USB, one GP), and the menus scroll endlessly unless I disconnect both gamepads. So I'm forced to play with the bloody keyboard which won't even map properly. What a garbage game.
I need a patch in the worst way.
The trade interface reminds me of NBA Live 2002/3. Absolute garbage. And it's hard to update rosters manually as well. Doing the Langkow trade was a bitch because half the screen goes blank at a time. Just stupid.
Very disappointed.

Just bought it today for gamecube, my first impressions:
Improvements:
- Better skater mechanics, more natural
- Doesnt take forever for a skater to turn around or make a sharp turn
- Better graphics
- Deeper dynasty mode
Things I don't like:
-the computer hits your skater ridiculously easily
-Even with sliders down, game is very fast paced
-Shots are too fast

Yeah the game is very fast paced....the slider down tho, fixes it alot, and the CPU hits if you take down the aggressiveness you get a bit more open ice i find.....im finding it insanely hard to score tho...i get 2 goals a game and one is usually empty net

Ok, I got my Xbox copy yesterday and I really love this game....Now there are some tweaks that need to be made, but if they made the perfect game it wouldn't sell every year right?
Improvements/Kick Arse Stuff
-Graphics are great! Players look real, as do coaches.
-The crowd isn't on speed this year.
-Skating is fluid, natural.
-TIP IN's are in the game.
-Face off strategy is good.
-Presentation of WCC banner and Richard Trophy
-Intros to games are cool.
-There's an actual goal you have everyyear in Dynasty Mode. It too is much deeper.
-Email system.
Needs Improvement
-yeah, turn down the hitting.
-new announcers
-able to turn off CPU trades
-complete control over rosters on any team in Dynasty.
-I'd love to see an HNIC presentation, with commentators.
Overall the game is great! The things that need fixing aren't that much of a problem.

Yeah CPU trades are a bit out of whack....Nash and Denis for Sakic,Foote and a 1st???????? If they did somehting like Madden and had the Icon system where it would hurt your team chemistry if you moved an Icon would be awesome......Also the Line Chemistry makes a massive difference in the game... I love this game best NHL game ever i think

If only it had Create Player, it would be a much better game.
Also, is anyone else finding it awkward to change lines on the fly for the PS2 version?
