I once passed a car accident on Crowchild and 24th Ave NW. A lady's car got rear-ended so hard that her head went through the windshield, got cut off and landed in the middle of Crowchild Trail. She wasn't wearing a seat belt. The lady that rear-ended her was in hysterics.

Wicked.
A security guard at Southcentre once told me about a maintainence guy who was repairing an escalator after hours when the thing accidentally turned on and tore him in half at the torso.

Maybe not even that...they have someone who has been recently murdered in the past 6 months or so, and, unknown to the public, he had no arm when they found the body.

Many people have a criminal record or have been fingerprinted it's quite possible that if this is some sort of killer (which I doubt) that it was random. Why does it make you feel better that the person was likely someone with a criminal record? you do know people can change and god forbid turn into upstanding citizens right?

Body part found in dumpster Marda Loop area
I looked in the mirror this morning. Fortunately, I was still looking there back so it wasn't me in that dumpster. I wonder what my reflection does all day when I leave?

It makes me feel better cause it means that the odds are very good that this crime was gang related... and not someone preying on innocent people.

Or the guy might have had a medic-alert bracelet on his wrist.

Maybe, but who would be stupid enough not to remove something like that before tossing the arm away?

Chad Largey was the name of the victim. He had a drug charge against him.

Easy there Presumptuous, wicked means evil, as in "what a frightening and dangerous world we live in where the evils of unheeded accident prevention still exist around us everyday." I don't know what kind of decadent teeny-bopper parlance you subscribe to where "wicked" somehow indicates a positive state of being...
