Seems about right.

I think Pittsburgh has an advantage going in. Should be a very competitive game though.

Glad the Seahawks are going to be he undersog...and Bettis will steal a lot of the spotlight too.

I still have this image of the Bengals taking it to Steelers in the Divisional Playoff and going up 17-3...that Steelers team is still out there somewhere.

They did a good job of shutting down Manning, who helped them out by not using the running game.

And Plummer today shot himself in the foot early more then Pittsburgh dominated, at least early.

That said, on one hand I can see Hasselback and the Seahawks come out flat, and, if the Steelers stop them early, or, get turnovers, a similar game to the Broncos game tonight. Hasselback will fold like a cheap suit.

On the other hand, the Seattle offense today, like it has been all year, was a great mix of run and pass. Stevens, Engram, Jerevicius, Jackson are all decent receivers and get a few catches each game, but there's not a big play guy that Pittsburgh can focus on. Alexander had a lot of carries but broke only a few for 10+ yards..yet still had around 150yds...so they aren't going to abandon the run like Indy or Cicny did. If they can prevent turnovers like Denver, and be in it into the second half, its anyones game.

I like Seattle's defence on the Steelers offence...again, like today, no turnovers to give Pittsbrugh a short field.

I'm just glad someone stepped up and knocked out the damn Colts. There is no way in hell that the Irsay family should ever get the privelege of owning a Super Bowl Champion no matter who they employ.

I am a bit surprised to see Pittsburgh as the favorite though. I would take Seattle against that spread.

My guess is that you're not old enough to remember the cirucumstances in which they hauled the team out of Baltimore. It was absolutely classless. For that I hope that the Colts continue to find ways to not get to the Superbowl.

Trust me I do remember, I have a very similar grudge against the Flordia Marlins for life due to Mr. Loria being the biggest a-hole in pro sports.

I'm just a huge Colts fan hahah but I totally see where your coming from

Yeah my dislike for the Colts is 100% Irsay. If the team was sold to a different owner, a lot of my disdain would instantly disappear. Of course as a Chief fan it was poetic to watch a road under dog go into their building and knock them off. Something the Colts have done twice to the Chiefs. One day my poor Cheifs will stop sucking, I hope.

I disagree wholeheartedly with that assessment. The difference early was Denver's inability to stop Pittsburgh's offense. Plummer didn't shoot anything until there was less than 2 minutes to go in the half. Denver's defense didn't show up and it forced the offense into a posture that isn't effective.

I don't think you're giving the Steeler offense nearly enough credit. They're good. Very good.

And then of course Baltimore gets their new team in a similarly classless fashion. Art Modell is right up there with Irsay in my book. Weird how that worked out isn't it?

I love the Steelers story surround The Chief, Art Rooney. Can you imagine that team moving? Hell, Rooney grew up where Three Rivers Stadium was eventually built. How cool is that?
