Wow what a play by Gridin! Those hands, wow! Great finish by Frost.

Gridin is poised for a player that only just turned 20.

Gridin is so impressive. Will be a cornerstone piece for many years. What a steal late in the 1st round.

Meat heads on the intermission: it’s good Pospisil fought with his concussion history.

Intermission panel: It's great that Pospisil, with his concussion history, stepped up to fight for his teammate.

Is it? Is that great? I don't think that's great at all.

Acknowledging that he has concussion issues and then celebrating him fighting is just so off the mark. He should have let Lomberg take it.

Good to see Brzu with no ill effects from the hit.

I wonder if Pospisil wanted to make an impact because Beecher has been playing well. So he took the fight instead of Lomberg.

Yeah, Gridin is so skilled. He's gonna be a good one. Absolutely love Pospisil too. Felt like it looked like he was hesitant to fight given his concussion history but him going after the Detroit player instinctively tells you the difference between the Flames room and the Leafs room. Id still rather he avoid those situations.

I like Matvei Gridin. That was as slick a pass as you'll ever see. Thing is, that saucy sauce followed up a wicked pass by Coronato which was Wizardly

He hesitated for a moment. I don't think he wanted to take it. Lomberg should have jumped in for him and taken the choice away.

I'd be okay if Frosty centered Coronato and Gridin for a couple of years.

Flames are far from”good”….but the way they often play, the effort and discipline, do make me wonder if the rebuild ends up being both shorter and more pleasant than we might expect today.
