Battaglia was circling the drain anyways.
Something has to be seriously wrong there. 19 year olds don't suffer drop offs like that in the CHL for no reason.

Othmann scored 50 goals in 66 the OHL and had 21 in 67 in the AHL
guy can score, will get a shot in the NHL with Calgary he just turned 23

Othmann produced at a level similar to Morton in the AHL. Both Othmann and Stromgren are waivers eligible next year, so hopefully they get a long look down the stretch.

Haven't seen much of Othmann at the NHL level, but I remember liking his performances at the World Juniors.

He played with a couple of skilled players in Uronen and Guindon that graduated to the AHL and NCAA, he then didn't have anyone left in Kingston and plays down the lineup in Flint. He isn't a player that is going to drive offense by himself, he needs someone on his line to do that.
