Impressive play by the Knights with their depleted lineup. They scored five goals in the third period and defeated the Kings 6-4. Scissons and Dorofeyev each had two points.

The Avalanche-Mammoth game had all the goals scored in the second period. Colorado won 4-2. Makar gets an assist and MacKinnon was not in the lineup.

Give up 2 goal leads twice for a total of 6 against.

That’s some Grade A defending.

Missing the playoffs would be best but a first round matchup with the Avs would be pretty good too

I took my old man to the Bolts-Leafs game tonight. He's from Toronto and a lifelong Leafs fan but by his recollection the last time he saw them play live was before their last Stanley Cup, so it's been a minute.

Anyway, Toronto looked completely outmatched in this one, a couple lucky goals at the end and some disallowed Tampa goals really made the score look flattering to the Leafs.

It could easily have been more like 6-0.

Some nice Olympic tributes on the Jumbotron to all the Bolts Olympians, they also showed Matthews when celebrating the US gold and he barely acknowledged the tribute when he was on screen.

Ducks leapfrog Oilers.
Utah in first wildcard with many points as Oilers with a game in hand.
Seattle as second wildcard 1 point behind the Oilers with 2 games in hand.

If the Kraken, Kings, and Sharks win their games in hand on the Oilers, it would bounce them out of a playoff spot.

The Flames can gift-wrap a couple of points for the Sharks tomorrow. That would help in all sorts of ways.

I want the Greasepigs to miss the playoff, but I don't want them to have a chance to win the lottery. Is there anyway they miss the playoff and not able to participate the lottery?

That oilers sharks game on Saturday will be a doozy. Feasibly could have the oilers lose to the kings and Sharks win vs the Flames tomorrow and suddenly the sharks are 3 points back with the same 4 games in hand. Win that Saturday and suddenly things aren't so rosey only 1 point up and also the sharks still having those 4 games in hand.
