Very predictably trying to pass through the crease at every opportunity

Mavi needs to tell teammates that it’s much easier to take the easy route to the final.

A win is not enough. USA can make up the GD in the first period.

Canada have been fine so far. France has some decent skaters and they are good at take shooting lanes away, so it's not like a blowout is a given.

I do wish we had more players that can step up the pace throughout the lineup which is where I think some of the roster selections hurt.

Everything has to be a one timer apparently. Do those count as two goals now?

In a tough game to play, like this one, it isn't a big surprise that McDavid is invisible - he definitely has a history of taking games off. In the first two games, he was as good as we've ever seen him. Today - nothing. Just like 30-40 games a year for the Oilers, floating around, leaving it to his teammates.

+4 on USA - I think two more should do it.

3 more

6-1, +14 would be very difficult for the US to surpass

Edit: and there's 1 - 2 more

3 Canadians at the crease, inside the D, if the shot hadn't gone in. That was going to be a goal 8 times out of 10

This drone camera operator is making me dizzy. Just leave the thing in one spot I can follow the play. Hockey moves too quickly and unpredictably to be able to try and follow the puck every time it moves.

The goalie has made a few beautiful saves, to be fair. Also a couple posts on sure goals. The floodgates are going to open

Ironically, for the people yelling shoot... if Suzuki passed it there, it was almost certainly a goal.

(not that I minded him shooting)

Nobody's complaining about passing, the issue is extra passes through traffic when they have clean looks themselves
