Get the W and inflict the maximum amount of pain and suffering possible.
All other considerations secondary.
Yeah a Flames win puts some pressure on the Oilers.
If the Mammoth win today, then the Oilers will be dropping to the 3rd PAC spot. Anaheim will be a point back with 2 games in hand. Hopefully the Kraken Kings games goes into extra time so both teams will be within a couple points with games in hand. If SJ can beat COL, then even they will be 4 points back with 3 games in hand. I am all for team chaos here.
At this point I want one of Anaheim, Utah, Seattle, or LA now to win the division. Since the PAC is so terrible the Vegas pick can drop like 8 spots if they don't win the division.

The “powerhouse” Oilers losing to the bottom feeder Flames right before the Olympic break would be amazing. Oiler media, fans, and all the knob gobblers at SN would be forced to stew over it for two solid weeks, which would be glorious.

When it short-listed Draisaitl for the vote, the German Olympic committee said its criteria for a flag-bearer included a history of sporting success and being a popular role model for fairness in sports.

Utah is in the central division. But I agree that I’d like any of those other teams to win the pacific.
