Looking forward to the Victoria Mboko vs. Madison Keys match later today. Vicky taking on the defending Aussie Open champion, fantastic opportunity to see how her game measures up and potential huge confidence boost for the Canadian if she can pull off the upset.
I think you meant to write Herbert as in Pierre-Hughes Herbert as Ugo Humbert is playing Adelaide this week. I read that Sloane Stephens wanted to get some matches in and go through qualifying instead of taking a wildcard to play the Auckland event. Due to injuries, her ranking has fallen outside of the top 1000.
One more match win for Sloane and she makes the main draw.

Bianca won her first match at the W35 event in Bradenton, Florida. Good to see her back on court and hopefully she can get some matches in and stay healthy.
All right, Marina will be joining Sloane in the Aussie Open main draw following a straight sets win over Lin Zhu. This is Marina's 2nd ever grand slam main draw as she also made the Wimbledon main draw in 2024.

Just for making the Aussie Open main draw, Liam and Marina pocket 150K in Aussie dollars. Not life changing money, but certainly enough to cover expenses for the foreseeable future.

By the way, Liam drew Damir Dzumhur while Marina got wildcard Priscilla Hon. Dxumhur is a sneaky good player, Liam will have to play well to advance. I think Marina has an excellent chance of seeing round 2.

By the way, Liam was two points away from catching a flight home, somehow won this point, broke serve to stay in the match, and eventually won in three sets.
