No contracts on the books come June with likely a 2nd, and maybe a 3rd and 4th?

I’m in town at a hotel in the burbs, and just now in the breakfast room, there is a team from Shelbyville (you could tell by their sweatpants) and they are crying tears of joy now that “Stu” is gone. I swear they are happier than the day their little money pits that led them to being in a ####ty hotel in NW Calgary were born. Yeah, the goaltending…that’s going to fix the problems for sure.

So, being a minor hockey parent doesn’t apparently give you any additional insight than the average idiot Oiler fan…good to know.

He is until he gets that Edmonton stink all over him. Give it 10-12 games

Congrats to Skinner for being able to go full "Dubnyk" and revitalize his career

Debatable. They punted Jarry to the AHL last year.

Jarry is going to struggle hard in Edmonton IMO. Bouchard giving up muffins down mainstreet wont help either.

For a guy that the greasepigs could have had for free last year but no one claimed him to now hoping Pickard can hold the fort if he struggles.

Jarry was good...once upon a time.

Now? He is Edmonton and thusly, no longer good.

Condolences to the Jarry family. He thought he'd escaped the Edmonton but one doesnt merely walk out of Edmonton...they'll drag you back in.

Worst case scenario he can moonlight at La Senza at the Mall.

Hilarious deal IMO. Oilers are desperate. I don't know how much of an improvement Jarry is over Skinner, and they had to sacrifice one of their few solid defensemen in order to get him at a higher cap hit. Perfect.

Jarry is 3 years older than Skinner. Old team gets older.

Kulak for Stastney and Skinner for Jarry. They might not get any better and lose a couple of decent picks on top of it.

No one can save the Oilers. Not Jarry. Not Statsney.

Yeah actually Kulak is pretty good for his role. I like that they subtracted him.

All Oilers deals are either adding soft offensive forwards or dismantling their already crappy defense.

Maybe theirs a lot more to it that i dont consider, but it is simply shocking to me how some of these managers hold their jobs.

Well, we know that no draft picks will save the oilers, as I think now they don't draft again until...2054 or something. Talk about bare cupboards....
