Not asked to me, but I would say 2024 season. 2 picks in each round after trading vets. So IMO we are in year 3.
Picks the Flames have or currently sit on since 2024:
1st Round
2024: 9, 28 2025: 18, 31 2026: 2 picks TDB (ours and Vegas)
2nd Round
2024: 41, 62 2025: 54 2026: 1pick TBD (ours)
3rd Round
2024: 74, 84 2025: 80 2026: 2 picks TBD (Ours and Vancouver)
15 picks in the first 3 rounds so far in that 3 year span. SJ had 13 picks in the first 3 rounds reading up to them drafting Celebrini 22-24. Chicago had 18 in the 3 years leading up to them getting Bedard.
