The Wild's rookie goalie, Jesper Wallstedt has been stellar in net. He was the reason the Wild beat the Hurricanes in the shootout 4-3 win. The Hurricanes out shot the Wild 45-18! Wallstedt has not lost in regulation time this season (5-0-2). The Hurricanes tied it up with 66 seconds left in regulation time. From the post game links, "It was the first 5-on-5 goal allowed by Minnesota in over 302 minutes and ended a streak of 95 consecutive saves by Wallstedt."

The Ducks also had strong goaltending with Dostal in net as he made 36 saves in the Ducks 4-3 win in regulation time. Ian Moore scored the winning goal with 3:35 left in the third period. The Ducks are flying right now at 7-3-0 in their past ten games and are in third place overall!
