Kerins needs time up, it was the same when he came in the Wranglers. He seems to be very methodical in his play style and that means slow to start while he is working out how he can be most useful to the team/his line mates.
23/24 0.59 ppg (54 games)
24/25 0.96 ppg (63 ganes)
25/26 1.08 ppg (13 games)
Flames
24/25 0.80 ppg (5 games)
25/26 0.80 ppg (5 games preseason)
I have watched him more than once pass on an open net to assure they scored, he takes very few chances which means unless he REALLY stands out, everyone thinks he is doing nothing out there but when I watch I see a guy that is looking out for the team, not simply his own stats.
Give him a good portion of games to see how he does, if he doesn't pull the weight trade him for another younger player that might... it really is that simple compared to letting him stagnate on the Wranglers.
