Still can't, and won't, cheer for losses as there is no guarantee that a high draft pick gets us diddly squat.

Would like to see the coach letting players on a looser leash though, to allow some better creativity to leak through and provide some entertainment value. Can't see it happening, but one can hope.

Yes, I do listen to other opinions. But it is hard to see how people can think Huska is a good coach. Unless you are on team tank of course, he is the guy.

It's a little disturbing how hard people try to change his mind and pressure him to reapproach his entire way of posting.

Pulling out every stop including personal comments.

It makes me cheer for Rhett to stand his ground even though I dont agree with some of his takes.

Even if his takes aren't well thought out/backed up by the standards of some, that it riles people up so much is kind of pathetic. His posts aren't even that grating compared to some recent bans.

People could learn to handle posts/posters they don't agree with with more grace and less condescension.

Not every one shares your thoughts and you can't change that. Relax and let it be.

lol am I defending him?

I am not even sure I like him or not.

All I am saying, nobody can win with this roster….

At some point I would be pissed if he screwed up the young player development but that’s the only reason to be mad

You don't think John Cooper or John Quenneville couldn't win with this roster? Not win a Cup but they would be a bubble team and probably around 15 in GF.

I have no idea if Huska is a good coach or not, but the fact this team lacks grade A talent especially at forward, is a valid argument. I'd be hard pressed to pick any of our forwards that would be a regular 1st line player on any other team, let alone on a playoff team. We don't have a top line that most teams would trade for their top line. It would take a pretty phenomenal coach and a lot of things outside of Huska's control to go right to get this team to the playoffs.

Oh...FFS....I'm so confused about what time it is and what it's supposed to be.

Was in France last week, went through European time change, then flew to Montreal stayed a few days, then back to BC in time for time change last night and went to see if the game was on....but I guess it's still 2 hours away....ah, gotta love jet lag.

Has anybody, I mean even a single poster compared Huska to those 2 coaches? I think not.

Also, Huska coached the same team to the bubble. Does that make him good?

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Wolf probably stole 15 points in the standings?

Well...lets not be hasty! John Quenneville is currently schlepping around Finland playing for Tappara.

Joel however, I believe is working in Anaheim, he could be a Disney Princess at the Park or...he could be coaching the Ducks. Or both?

Number one ranked anthem singer? No way that's the case.

Well...not least of all because it wasnt very good, but I am highly skeptical that any such ranking system actually even exists.

Yeah sometimes normal social interactions can seem pretty weird and scary.

Should make him comparable to any hypothetical coach that could coach them to bubble team status one would think.
