The Flames have now scored 13 goals in their last 10 periods of hockey.
They're obviously not the '84 Oilers, but at this point, I don't think they're going to set that record for worst GF in the cap era that some posters were worried about at one point.

Wait - are you suggesting we shouldn't have panicked from the small sample size, and should have maybe anticipated a mean reversion?
On an unrelated note, the Flames are leading and we haven't seen a single post from Rhett or the Huska haters.

I'm at my daughters U5 soccer so not watching, but I still don't like Huska or scratching Zary before Lomberg or Kirkland

Cooley is making a fan out of me. I didn't think he would last long after what I saw in preseason. Prosvetov is also looking good in the AHL, so goal tending is back to being a strength.

I respect you as a poster, and my comment above wasn't directed at you.
But Zary's been bad and could use a break (which seems to have helped Sharangovich and Coronato). I think you need to separate the Zary decision from Kirkland and Lomberg - they aren’t related, no matter how much you think they should be.
