The team who wins game 1 wins the World Series about 64% of the time.
The team with home field wins the World Series around 58-60% of the time (couldn’t find current stats for this).
But home field wasn’t determined by record until 2017. Since then the team with home field is 4-3. Not counting 2020 since it was neutral field.
