Oilers trailing now so they have to give the Oilers a powerplay on one of the weakest penalty calls you'll ever see. I hate the Oilers. Goddamn team charity!!! Over the McDrai era how many games would they have lost if not for charitable powerplays?

The Canes vs Avalanche game on Altitude has totally embraced the throwback jerseys. Score bug and commentators are calling it as Whalers vs Nordiques. I love it, it's trippy.
These teams are also way better than the Hartford vs Quebec games from when I was a teenager. They both sucked then.

NHL needs a third video referee in house that can quickly review every penalty on the fly and reverse calls. If he/she sees a dive, the call can be overruled and diving player gets called.
Could all happen seamless, just through earpieces. No huddling at the time keepers bench, just a quick msg. Between refs.

What a f'n joke this league is. PPs 5-1 for the Oilers so far in this one. Pretty tough to compete when you're having to play against both your opponent and the officials at the same time. I'd be absolutely livid right now if I were a Habs fan.
Oilers are a pathetic hockey team.
