There's still runway, but every game that he isn't a factor we're getting a little bit closer to Zary just being a flash in the pan that happened for a season.
He hasn't shown himself to be a player who excels anywhere in particular in your lineup in a number of months.
Even Honzek has sort of cultivated a role for himself this season.

Media all praising Toews for his comeback. He was captain for a team that covered up a sexual assault, as I see it that’s full participation. That’s how I see him. As bad as Bowman.
I also wish somebody knocked Niederietter’s teeth down his throat for that hit on Parekh. Yap all you want if it’s clean or not, you don’t touch our top d prospect. Klapka should have murdered him.

He backed Bowman and protested him getting canned/suspended for the role he played.
I guess people have short memories and/or don't actually care.

Lots of cheers for WPG goals in the dome . Not surprising. Winnipeg is such a dismal s***hole , same reason there are so many oilers fans in Calgary. Though, to be clear, Edmonton is a way bigger s***hole than WPG. At least Manitoba has nice lake country.

Definitely want to see him turn it around and be dynamic again, but it's just the truth of the matter at this point.

Yeah but Timbit has early onset CTE. He ragged Gaudreau for 6+ years when he was here and was all over Dustin Wolf last year.

This team may score fewer than 170 goals total this season, something that hasn't been done since the 2014-2015 Sabres. Not including the shortened COVID year.
Currently on pace for 140 goals, but it can't stay that low.
