What I would point out though is that Wilson has a lot of hits like this. He very frequently hits people who are vulnerable, which suggests to me that he is doing it on purpose / concentrating on hitting people who he knows are vulnerable after certain actions.
The league would do well to crack down on him simply because the type of hit he's aiming for has a high chance of crossing over the line and severely injuring a fellow player.

You can't change the rules mid game...its a legal hit
the fact that one player has an injury history is totally irrelevant
We can debate rule changes but not the hit itself, its not even a 2 min penalty under the current rules. Its only late in slow mo and its a hit to should to chest it couldn't be any cleaner on contat. Player getting hit needs to be aware, this is a contact sport.
