I’d be surprised if any of that happens. Every sport has players with histories. It generally gets forgotten if they play well.

We are talking about a country that has a rapist president and very little pushback towards a fascist regime. Remember Hart was found not guilty of sexual assault so while some in the media may bring this up as a hot topic story, the average uninformed US fan knows nothing about the case other than he was found not guilty and as with their president likely just shrugs their shoulders and only cares about what's next on their instagram or tiktok feed.

Still, it's gotta mess with at least Hill and Schmid's mind sets. Hill has proven himself and Schmid is playing very well and here comes a guy who has that rep, hasn't played in two years and he's being given a long look (and it seems like a lock on a contract).
I'd happily take Schmid off their hands if they want to roll the dice with Hart (despite how well Cooley played last game).
